More Jews converting to Islam
New record: 70 Israeli citizens expected to convert to Islam this year – more than twice the number in previous years. Most are cases of Jewish, Christian women marrying Muslim men
according to statistics from the Population Administration, 2012 will be a record year for Israeli Jews joining the Muslim religion. In the past few years, the number of conversions to Islam was relatively stable at 35 per year, but over 70 conversions were expected this year.  40 Jews converted to Islam; in 3. 


But the trend took a drastic turn this year, and Interior Ministry data showed that in the first half of 2006-7  alone 42 conversions 

were
recorded, and a comparable number is expected
throughout the second half of the year.


The process of converting to Islam is carried out at the Muslim religious court which operates according to Islamic law. In contrast to Jewish conversions, which last months and often years, to become Muslim one must only convince the court that one's intentions are sincere and declare faith in Allah. 


Most are Jewish and Christian women who convert after choosing to marry Muslim men. The number of men who convert to Islam is far lower, but has also seen a rise.


“Jews say they decided to convert after deepening their knowledge of Islam. Many are disappointed in Judaism,” a senior member of the Islamic court said.


In the past, the Religious Affairs and Interior Ministries made it very difficult for Jews to convert to Islam. “They are giving me the runaround, sending me back and forth from office to office. They made me see a psychiatrist, to make sure I wasn't brainwashed.’ They did everything so that I would despair and return to Judaism,” one convert related. 

Israel is notorious worldwide for its abuse of the Palestinian people. No amount of propaganda can cover up the overt abuses of the Palestinian people. Shooting missiles at cars on civilian streets, at people so poor and desperate there children are driven to throw rocks at tanks even with the risk of being shot which they often are. Any citizen that is informed enough to set themselves apart from the Pro-Israel propaganda campaign, can clearly see the bias in the media. Even Jewish people admit there dominant influence in the media at this point. The lynching of Nobel prize winner Jimmy Carter was a clear example. The double standards constantly being applied wreaks of the kind of racist bigotry America fought to end not so long ago. Israel government has been populated by war criminals and inhumane men. You cannot oppress a whole people for the sake of Jewish dominance. The Palestinians are simply disenfranchised Israeli's and Zionist Jews are simply racist hiding behind the holocaust.

The premise that Jews are gods chosen people deserving of some sacred land is inherently racist. There is not much difference between Zionism and the logic of Hitlers Aryan race. I blame those who hold those racist opinions not those who happen to be Jewish. Racism is based in religion it is still racism. This bigotry has led to years of injustice that has been a black mark of the image of America and the Jewish people. No amount of carefully tailored language, lawyering, or clever points can disguise what has been going on. As rage spreads through the Muslim world, and technology makes it easier for smaller countries to do substantial damage, we can no longer afford to support the abuse of the Palestinian people. The pro-Israel lobby does not represent the Jewish people. It is just another special interest group enamored with its own power. I hope one day the Jewish people will stand up and right this injustice for the sake of America and the World.
